The
invitation to serve as a Eucharistic minister is an honor and a
responsibility. Their reverence for what they carry can be seen and
felt by the whole assembly. Their gentle serving of bread and wine is a
reminder that our communion with the Lord is also communion with one
another. The number of communicants at a Mass determines the number of
ministers of communion needed. Our “going to communion” should be a
time that the eating and drinking is experienced together |
