We believe that our parish is a family, and like any other family, there are times when some members cannot be with us at our family meal.   If you are in the hospital, or confined to your home for any length of time, those involved in this ministry will gladly come to visit you and bring you Eucharist.  We want you to know that we care about you and miss you.  If you or a member of your immediate family needs Communion brought to you, please call the parish office to arrange a Minister of Care to visit you either at home or in the hospital.  This is a wonderful way to be Christ to others.

Our Ministry is also involved in Bereavement. Some of the volunteers attend funeral vigils and are present at our parish funerals to assist the loved ones
of the deceased.

Our Church provides a 1st Friday Mass for the Dyer Nursing Home and a few
of this Ministry are usually there to assist when needed.

The following dates (Thursdays) are when the Ministry of Care Volunteers
will be meeting. These meetings are held at the Casa Maria Hall, Classroom 1
from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.

For the remaining of 2006:
October 19th and December 14th.

The first 6 months of 2007 are scheduled as such -
February 15th, April 19th and June 14th.
